bodmin prison

Went to Bodmin prison yesterday took these pics. They were taken within seconds of each other, weird that the greyish area is only in 1 of them. Don't know what it is? Could be the flash!, but it was not present in any of the other photos. Any views?

So you visited the famous Bodmin jail , nice place , your picture is very interesting , can you give me some infomation about the conditions you took this picture in , weather conditions , wind , was it cold warm and so on .

It would also be interesting to know if you used a flash or not or whether you were on your own , did you see this mist without your camera , of course there is also the possibillty that this could be smoke from a cigarette that can be quite common the last possability is if i was cold this could be condence breath and when using a flash this can sometimes illuminate the condence breath and it looks like ectoplasm .

hi.

I was with my girlfriend at the time, and we were the only two people in that floor of the prison
there was definatly no smoke in the area. The grey mist could not be seen as it was very dark. So dark that i could nt see the
woman with the baby figure. It was only when the flash went off that i saw the whole scene. We then noticed the mist after the tour.
The temperature was very cold, but it would be due to all the open vents and holes in the building. I dont think the mist could be seen with the naked eye.

Thanks for your prompt reply, and your explanation , this is by no means critisism to your pic i hope that you didn´t misunderstand me , but we always have to look at pics with a certain amount of sceptic and always try to find a logical explanation to it as soon as we reach the point where we cannot find a logical explanation, then we can consider it having paranormal origins.

If there is no smoke in the area , or no one was smoking then the only possability would be condense breath allthough the pattern is a bit strange for condense breath so i would say that this pic will probaly remain a mystery , what would be interesting to know is how you felt when you were taking this pic , sometimes when something is present you can feel it´s presence through maybe feeling uneasy maybe you heard something at that moment , just try to remember back to the moment when you took it .

Have you checked the other pictures that you took , if you have any questions don´t hesitate to contact me .

i didnt feel anything when it was taken, just randomly walked round taking pictures in the darker areas of the prison. I agree its hard to tell wot it is, personally i dont believe its a ghost, but im quite sure its not smoke or condensation from my breath. The picture was taken at arms length, and i dont think me breathing would of travelled that far and been that large. But a mystery it shall be, thanks for the feed back. ps just relised could that be an orb in the secound pic, lower left corner?

Hi there,

Really interesting photos Smithy, Bodmin Jail is a very eerie place and steeped with history. These images are very facinating as they are all taken at the same time and the second shows a distinct orb in the bottom left before manifesting in the third picture into what appears to be an ectoplasm mist....

I have been on the moors before but never toured the jail. It would be great to maybe visit and take further pics to see if anything manifests itself in the same way again.

Here is another link I found on the BBC News website, about an investigation there in 2005!!! Looks like a great place to go as a team!

Found another intresting pic, 3 orb like circles? And the ghostly figure sat in the chair is just a jail prop im afraid

Does look like orbs, but could very well be dust or the flash catching other small particles... Can you send me the original Smithy? By PM or e-mail if you like. I could then enlarge it and check it out properly.
