| This place is meant to be amazing, Harry price was so impressed with the amount of activity there that he rented it out for a year to do extensive research. Also my great great gran used to be a cleaner there and she told my dad that a monk was killed on some step leading up to the rectory and there was a stain of blood there every morning, she`d clean it and it would always be there again next day. anyway, been described as the most haun ted place in Britain. my be worth having a peep! |

| Hi Spook,
You're right, Borley Rectory has often been described as the most haunted place in Britain. Unfortunately the building no longer exists as it was raised to the ground in a fire, just before world war 2 I think.
Not sure what stands in it's place today, maybe someone else here can tell us more.
regards,

| Hi Guys
Well there are some interesting stories about Borley, it is true that Harry Price rented the place for a year and conducted alot of paranormal investigations , but there are also alot of reports that some of the stories about the place were actually made up and and caused by some of the members of staff that worked there , Harry Price did confirm some of the stories, but then members of staff had the idea that these hauntings would make the house popular so they started causing there own little hauntings , it's also thought that maybe the fire that destroyed the house may have been caused by a member of staff.
whether these are true is another thing .
