Hi All
I grow up in a small village by the above name...now looking back i must say this had to be one of the most haunted villages.
For a small place there are alot of stories.
Nottley abby for one..i heared many stories of this place...as the abby is close to part of the themes river ive been told of ppl that have gone late night & early morning fishing and have seen long lines of monks walking across the fields towards the abby its self...now i would understand if it was still a abby but its not..just the name remains.
Also the corthouse many ppl have told of a judge pushing past them as they sit on the steep steps leading up to the first floor.
Shouting "get out my way"!
Also the eastington road (see my post in ghost stories).
The house i lived in 19 highfield long crendon. also have a post on that.
Roman soldiers have been seen walking the halls of the local school..it was so i found out years later built on a roman grave yard.
The manor is ment to be haunted by many diff ghost one of henry the 8th wifes (not sure whitch one) walks there.
Ghost of horese have been seen and ppl have been chased around the village by them!
Mages a large home on the old highstreet is a horried place im not sure if its haunted but every time i walked past that house it gave me the creeps.
Theres is a large house called the mound as you come into the village from the southend.
There theres is a golden goblet beried into the fireplace there is ment tobe a evil sprit under it work men let it lose while doing some work to the old place is cased all kinds of mayhem!
The owners had to call in somone to trap the spirt again under the goblet
Then there Wopping Lane now that a story!
