K2 Meter and EVP Empty
PostSubject: K2 Meter and EVP    K2 Meter and EVP EmptyWed Sep 08, 2010 7:18 pm

Ive been doing some thinking about the PLACEMENT of the K2 meter during EVP sessions, and thought i would share my ideas Twisted Evil

In general terms, the K2 appears to have an effective range for picking up EMF of about 1 to 1.5 Feet ( i did some basic tests around the home) Also that depends on the STRENGTH of the EMF field

When we do an EVP session, most of the time the K2 is placed on the floor UNLESS theres something higher to place it on

scratch now my line of thought is,,,,,,,,,,, scratch

With spirits ect , i would imagine the EMF would be strongest from the center of the entity and reducing in strength as it radiates out
SO..... If the spirits EMF field is radiating out from the center, its plausable, that the LOWER to the ground the K2 is, the LESS EMF it would pick up Question

now thats asuming that the entity is in the upright position, IE a STANDING SPIRIT, then we MAY get an EMF reading

ive been looking at a lot of paranormal photos study , the lower area where the K2 is placed, (ie the FLOOR) does not appear to show a hell of a lot of activity, the spirits appear to be FLOATING or UP HIGH

With the above in mind, would it be prudent to try a K2 in a higher level, say on a tripod ,bearing in mind the operational range of the K2 is limited

with the K2 at 3ft high ( just as an example) we not only incease the DIAMATER RANGE of the K2, (on the floor were only using 180o NOT the 360o range) but also increasing the chance of getting a EMF reading

In theory your then covering from 1.5 ft to 4.5 ft from groung level and NOT just from the ground Up to about 1.5 Ft

Just an idea, but i THINK it may be worth a try Grave smiley

Hi Kevin

Thats not a bad line of thought that you have there , we can try it out at exeter if you want and see what happens .

Well done .

Hi Kev,

That sounds very plausible to me.

Good thinking!!! Happy

IMO we should definitely try it out at Exeter.
