After briefing the team on the plan
of action for the night’s investigation.

We all arrived at the pub and was
warmly met by Sarah Runble the Landlady of the white heart the pub was still
very busy but we were allowed to place our kit in the kitchen with the pub
slowly empting we were allowed to have a walk around the pub, taking this time
i showed the team the hot spots of paranormal activity by the time I had done
this the pub was empty and we began to set up for the nights investigation.

Our hub was the top end of the upper
bar feeling this would be the most active part of the pub as well.

With the live-stream set up and
running & everything and everyone in place our investigation began

Sarah had two guests Charlie &
sazinas....all 3 seemed happy and rearing to go!

After a short update to the live feed
i started the Investigation with glass derivation placing a simple yes or no on
the table i sat our guests and myself and matt, & john placed our fingers
on the glass in the middle of the table, Matt Watkins casted a protective
circle around us all so we wouldn’t come to any harm.

Matt Smith was asked to film the
vigil.

I asked if there was anyone that
haunts the pub to come forwards to talk to us almost at once my K11 began to
spike and then the glass moved towards the yes on the table.

I asked if it was someone that once
lived in the pub the glass moved to the no, asking if it was anyone that drank
in the pub the glass had moved back to the centre of the table the glass went
to the no again....it lead to one of our guests sazinas grandfather coming
through it seemed he want her to know he was safe and not in pain anymore as
this was going on John west noticed a white strake of light pass between him
and the table the batteries in my camera went dead we lost the live-stream and
matt smith camcorder switched off....we began to see shadows moving at the
bottom of the bar my k11 began to spike yes again to amber....the right up to
red by this time matt smith camcorder had been switched on and we managed to
catch the k11 spiking we also odd lights around the front door of the entrance
to the pub we can’t account for theses odd lights as the curtains to wall the
windows were shut and the lights in the whole bar were off the team and myself discounted is as being
made by the flashes from any of our cameras as no pictures where being taken in
that part of the bar.

Sazinas began to get very upset,
while the glass moved between the yes and no on the table, as she asked
questions that only her grandfather would have none, me were very glad we
managed to catch all the activity on matt’s camcorder.....sadly we didn’t catch
any of the lights or shadows in the other parts of the bar but we did catch all
the movement from the glass deviations’ and the k11 spikes.

Hallway upper level

After a short brake the team made
their way to other parts of the pub i
took Sarah, Charlie & john to the top
floor of the pub to the hall were odd things have happened in the pasted
strange shadows have been seen moving inside the hallway and the family dog
would never go down the hallway it would just sit and the far end looking straight
ahead looking moving just staring.

Taking the laptop with us we set up
with the laptop looking down the whole hallway we settled down on the left and
right of the hallway John & i say at the far end of the hallway while Sarah
& Charlie were happy to sit together and the other end of the hallway.

Mean while Both Matt’s and sazina
made their way to the cellar this was the place that many of the pubs works and
Sarah herself have heard the sound of movement and the sounds of money being
counted very late at night with the sound of the coins being clearly heard,
with both teams ready the pub was again plunged into darkness.

I set up the k11 and my voice
recorder ask i asked any spirits to come forwards please give us a sign after a
few mins i asked Sarah to ask any general questions to see if she could stir up
any response to her questions.

Sarah asked “is there and spirits
here with us in the hallway or upstairs that would like to make contact with us
can you knock or tap for us”?

All was quiet for a few moments then
there was a clear but short tap from inside the kitchen which ran along the
length of the hallway....we clearly all heard this and I’m sure we must have
court this on the evp that was running at the time.

After a while of similar questions we
all heard a very odd scraping sound as if something was being dragged across a
worktop or hard floor

We tried to work out what this sounds
was but we could not recreate the sound Im hoping we have this on the evp as
well.

As we all commented on this at the time there
were no hits on the k11 but there was some movement within the kitchen again
and another tap but this time we couldn’t tell from where this came from this
time, both John and I felt that the upper level of the pub seemed very peaceful
and we couldn’t be 100% sure this was paranormal as we asked more questions
during the vigil and we had no more
response and all a very quiet.

Cellar
lower level

Meanwhile both matt’s and sezinas began
the vigil in the cellar, and the lights were turned off.

Matt Watkins had asked sezinas to
hold he k11 to see if they could get any response while matt asked questions
and Matt Smith recorded anything that may happen shortly after the k11 seemed
to shot out of sezinas hand and land some way away from where she stood.

Sezinas told us after the vigil that
the k11 had been pulled out of her hand and that she had in no way had anything
to do with the k11 to ending up on the other side of the cellar.

Shadows were reported on the stairway
that leads in and out of the cellar.

The team had k11 spikes as well they
also had the feeling of far more people being in the cellar than the 3 of them,
but this just could be the fact that the cellar being quite small.

Lower bar area

After another short break we moved to
the lower end of the bar setting up the laptop on a small table and got our 3
guest to sit around another small bar table Matt Watkins set up the franks box
(Franks Box is a small devices the skims through radio waves at a high speed it
is believed that spirits can move and talk through these wave lengths if asked
questions).

With the Franks Box & laptop set
up I had a short chat with the live-stream telling the views what we were
around to do with all in place and Matt Watkins had taken up the last place at the
small table the vigil began.

Myself Matt Smith & John West
took up seats around the lower bar taking pictures and Matt again videoed the
vigil as the franks box skimmed through the radio waves Sarah asked if there
was any spirits with us and if so how many a clear 5 came across the speaker,
one of the girls asked do you have a message for anyone here a few moments
later my name was said coming from the Franks box at that point everyone looked
at me!

I asked what the message was for me
the broken voices seem to say “be careful”

I asked more questions but nothing of
any sense seemed to come through to me.

Matt Watkins asked if they could give
us a name of anyone with us (Jane), or Janet was said.

There was the sound of movement was
heard by matt smith and myself in the upper part of the bar it was load enough
to make us look around in the directions
of the sound yet again I saw odd lights in the upper bar but was to slow
to catch theses on my camera.

As the vigil carried on even with
changing the frequency on the franks box & asking different questions
nothing more of any sense came across on to us so with that he ended the vigil.

Upper bar vigil no#2

With limited success in the lower
part of the bar with the franks box, and upper level an also cellar we switched to the upper bar as we had a good
reactions in the beginning of the investigation so we made a decision to base
the last hour of the night in the upper bar.

Because we had a good reactions with
the glass deviation decided to try his again to see if we could make contact
with the spirits that haunt the public house when we all were settled at the
long table in the upper bar and the laptop I told the views on the live-stream
what we were about to do.

Matt Watkins, placed the protective crucial
around us all, with Matt Smith filming, John, Matt and myself with the Sarah,
Charlie, sazinas, placed our finger on the glass, we asked for any spirits to
come forwards and talk to us.

Matt asked if anyone would like to
talk to us the glass moved to the (No) so matt asked did they once live in the
pub the glass moved to the (No) again

“Did you drink here”? Matt asked the
glass moved to the (Yes) for some reason I asked did you die here the ask by
this time had moved to the middle of the table it moved to the (Yes) and then I
asked “was killed here in the pub” the glass moved to the (yes) again then I
asked, I had the feeling to ask was you murdered here the glass moved to the
(yes) the glass moved back to the middle of the table.

All of a sudden we all heard the
sounds of something or someone walking up behind the bar and the sound a bunch
of keys jangling the footsteps could clearly be heard by us all other sound
could be heard and all dark shadows could be seen at the far end of the lower
bar and yet again odd streaks of light could be seen be myself and other
members of the group.

I saw a dark shape move across the
lower end of the bar into the bar hatch go behind the bar moving towards the
bar kitchen sadly we didn’t get this on camera but this for me was a very
strange personal experiences, and one of the oddest one ever!

I’m sure my experience was court on
the EVP.

Back at the table the glass had stop
carried on moving very erratically at times jumping off the flat of the table
and almost going off the table all together Sarah at one point had to grab the
glass to stop it dropping off the table to questions asked then as suddenly as
it started it stopped.

Matt asked if there any spirits with
us that lived in the pub the glass moved to the (No)

He asked if there was someone here
that knows someone at the table the glass moved to the (Yes) Matt asked could
you move the glass to the person at the table that you know.....it moved
towards Charlie.

Charlie asked is it my (pops) grandpa
the glass moved to the yes Charlie asked questions regarding her grandpa would
have none

I have decide not to report on the
questions and answered asked in the vigil because of the upsetting feelings
Charlie experienced this part of the vigil was not live-steam we had cut the
feed by then.

We did record this on the camcorder.

After this we decide to call the
investigation to an end and called it a night.

Is the White Heart
Public House Haunted?

Finial Note: can I honestly say the pub is
haunted this is hard to say we all experienced some very odd things and sounds
unexplained lights ect and the glass deviations the pub is very old dating back
to the 1300 hundreds more spirits seemed to come us from our guest but this is
not to say the pub does not have its share ghost maybe on the night many of
them were not willing to come and talk to us.

But we did have the spirit of the
murder woman that was killed in the bar I will try and look into the history of
the pub to see if there is any truth to this.

I will reserve my judgement on this
investigation until I’ve had the chance to listen to all the evps and watched
the videos and studied all the photos from the night’s investigation.

Hi Phil,

Good investigation, very detailed and lots of info. I'd like to raise a number of points if I may.

Calling these areas hot spots of paranormal activity is surely assuming the activity previously experienced there is paranormal as opposed to normal?
Investigation teams should ideally go into a location with a blank sheet and gather the available data without any bias or preconceptions as to what lies at the root
of the alleged experiences - I realise this is often unrealistic given that people carry baggage into an investigation.

Divination - via a Ouija board glass to solicit answers posed to spirits. Any responses here cannot be realistically admissible since they are are subjective, open to hoaxing and
the ideomotor response.

Further subjective impressions and electrical issues cannot be directly attributed to the alleged haunting. For example - the sighting of shadows moving at the bottom of the bar - these could have
a number of logical explanations. Without detailed information on the light sources in that area that had the potential to create shadows I can't comment.

Sazinas began to get very upset - a subjective experience with no verifiable link to the haunting other than personal feeling that may have been influenced by prior knowledge of
this haunted location.

John west noticed a white strake of light pass between him

Johns white streak could be optical and down to the darkness and spotlighting via LED's, camera ON lights etc. Night vision is so easily ruined and influenced by
the slightest light effects. Batteries die for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes they just fail. They're electronic in nature and fallible. When two devices fail at the same time in a haunted location it's easy to link
the double but possibly coincidental failure to the paranormal. Shit 'appens - sometimes shit 'appens twice.

All was quiet for a few moments then

court this on the evp that was running at the time.

Buildings make odd noises in the dark. Temperature fluctuations, wood on metal expanding at different rates etc result in knocks, groans and even voice like phenomena.

Franks Box is wishful thinking , Franks Box is hope and sadly Franks Box is the last resort of the desperate. IMO it's about as credible as a Ouija board or Derek Acorah. There's no scientific evidence or any published
papers that cites Franks Box or Franks anything as a valid communication device between the physical and the dead/spirit world.

Subjective and personal. Possibly a result of expectation bias, heightened awareness and wanting to see and experience something paranormal.

I'd agree 100% with that. Despite my above scepticism we can't say for sure either way and I'd certainly not say that this location is not haunted but the evidence presented given it's subjective
nature suggests that more research needs to be done into this location and the subject in general. This is not to belittle the efforts of the team that carried out this investigation. Respect is due to them and despite my obvious doubts
I think a fine job was done by everyone involved.

It's easy to be an armchair sceptic and to judge people from afar. In defence of my comments I've carried out investigations for over 30 years, in the field, in houses, pubs and other locations. I don't do them as often
as I'd like to now but I still investigate.
