They could be a trick of the eye... like when you look into the light and the image of the light is still kind of burned into your retina for a while. i had that myself too sometimes, it usually when you look onto a bright area with a darker spot or so on it.
As for what it means in the paranormal, I have to admit, that I don't know. I've never heard of black orbs.
Maybe some sort of black mass, just smaller than usual?

| Hi Spookyabs Funny you should ask about Black Orbs...I and my partner have also seen Black Orbs in our home.... I would be heading in the same place as Hella on this one...we seem to see them flying around the carpet close to the Tv I to have not heard much about Black orbs strange that you asked about this....when Ive been seeing them too....  |
