Insurance For Investigations Empty
PostSubject: Insurance For Investigations   Insurance For Investigations EmptyThu Apr 21, 2011 3:37 pm

As you know we are trying to book our own investigations but I was just wondering whether anyone knew about relevant insurancies that we would need to obtain?

Am I right in thinking that if you are doing a public investigation, i.e. an event where the general public come along to a location, you need to have public liability insurance? My confusion comes in that we are a group of, maximum, 4 people who are just performing the investigation ourselves so would we still need the same public liability insurance or something different?

This is something we definitely need to look into moving forward as it would be great to be able to advise the client we have the relevant insurancies in place when we contact them.

As always, thank you in advance Very Happy

I found that Westminster liabiltity covers more than blackfriars and are a good £50 plus cheaper;

westminster indemnity

Apparently Lloyds bank do a good liability cover too for a decent price but not looked into that.
