| Just started looking into it, its been around for a long time " Langley Park, the seat of Sir Robert Grenville Harvey, bart. It is famed for its beautiful cedars, its oak avenue and its herd of white deer. The house is a square stone building, upon which the trustees of John first Duke of Marlborough were enabled by Act of Parliament to spend £2,000 yearly for five years in order to provide a residence on the family estates within easier distance of London than Blenheim. In the grounds is a late 17th-century orangery of brick, now used as a museum, and a dovecot and some detached outbuildings of the same date also remain. From:" found out Sir Robert Grenville Harvey was shot dead there in 1931 http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1946&dat=19310406&id=OHItAAAAIBAJ&sjid=XIwFAAAAIBAJ&pg=4534,836094ill keep digging, Kevin |
