PostSubject: police called out to ghostly goings-on in Peterborough   Fri Jan 06, 2012 12:35 am

This is quite an interesting read, Police in Peterborough have been called on to act as ghost busters by victims who feel they may have been targeted by thieves and yobs from beyond the grave.

Findings released by Cambridgeshire Police following a Freedom of Information request by The Evening Telegraph, show Peterborough police have been alerted on six occasions in the last three years to deal with ghostly apparitions.

Telegraph Peterborough

Is Peterborough a new hive of paranormal activity ??

I saw this the other day too...

Thanks for posting.

If I remember correctly there was another similar report a while back as well... I would not be surprised if every cop shop in the country gets several of these types of incidents.

If people do not know where to turn to, then their only option left is those who they do know that offer some form of assistance....

As much of a time waste it may be for the force, they can't really ignore someone in need..

Perhaps, the forces should be given our number in order to pass on any cases they receive..

The AA reckons they're the fourth emergency service..
Why not let GPS be the fifth Smile

I would agree with that one mate , there have been similar cases in the south west over the last couple of years. Like that cases that have been reported on Dartmoor on the Moretonhampstead road where people have phoned the police after having seen a car crash off the road.
