The Gatehouse Investigation.
The Royal Masonic School in Bushey, Hertfordshire was built in 1903 with a further boys school added in 1929. The site was sold in 1977 and became the American University. The buildings have now been converted to Apartments and flats.
The Gatehouse, situated to the right of the main gates has been empty for many years and has a reputation for being haunted. Faces appearing at the windows and an apparition of a man has been seen on many occasions.
We have visited this site a couple of times to photograph and take temperatures on the outside as we are still waiting permission from the company to go inside the building as it is in a very public place.
On our first visit we captured an orb hovering over a pillar just outside the gatehouse. In subsequent visits we have recorded sudden temperature drops of two degrees with large dark masses stopping light from passing through.
The findings so far are inconclusive and we will be doing a lot more extensive research on this site over the next few weeks.

This visit took place at 12:30 the temp readings were between 1-9c myself and fi were the only ones near the gate house .We had caught orbs on photos here before but this time we got at least 16 all above a small lawn to the side of the house.some were very bright and we thought at least three looked very familiar,from the previous visit.Again we took 130 photos in all ,the temp over the lawn stayed at 1-3c around the house it rose to between 4 - 9c.Our attention was drawn to a rear upstairs window where a dark shape was seen at least three times .This site has security and he wears a yellow hi viz jacket and could be seen in his hut from where we were.There is a large cat that comes and visits us but is reluctant to go near the house.However will sit on the path outside and look in the open door. The orb activity was extreamly active around the outside of the house. We are still waiting for permission to do a full nightime investigation inside . :affraid:charlie and fi
