PostSubject: Chislehurst Caves   Mon May 03, 2010 8:16 pm

Hi Folks,

Just came to me today, but have you ever investigated or thought of investigating chislehurst caves? I used to live near there and it is supposed to be very haunted. There was a legend that there was a monetary reward for anyone who spent the night in there. This ceased in 1985(ish) when the last person, a police officer, tried to do this and went mad. Dunno if its just folklore though.

Anyway: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A751754

Hi DrifterOne

We have tried to get permission to investigate chislehurst caves , but becuase of the things that have happened in the past , they do not let any groups go down into the caves anymore for investigations , which is a shame because we would have loved to have investigated that place .

Maybe we will get lucky one day and someone will let us in there .

regards
ian
